Copyright Notice
HiAnime respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of our website to do the same. We are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. We do not host any video files on our servers โ all streaming content is embedded from third-party providers. However, we will respond to clear takedown notices for embedded content that links to infringing material.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content available through HiAnime infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated copyright agent at dmca@hianim.com with the following information (as required by 17 U.S.C. ยง512(c)(3)):
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including the URL(s) of the content on HiAnime;
- Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Response Time
We will review and respond to valid DMCA notices within 48 to 72 hours. Infringing content will be removed from our index promptly. Note that we cannot remove content from third-party providers (such as MegaPlay) โ for those, you will need to contact the provider directly. We will, however, remove the embed link from our site so the content is no longer accessible through HiAnime.
Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice with the same contact information above. The counter-notice must include identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts.
Repeat Infringers
We will terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers of copyright. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
